Description

Cool-season color in blues, purples and white

Sorbet® XP Blueberry Sundae Mix Viola brings a coordinated blend of blue, purple and white blooms to garden beds and containers. Its compact, tidy growth makes it easy to add cheerful color along walkways, near entrances or in seasonal arrangements.

This viola performs best during the cooler months and through mild winters. Plant it in full sun to partial shade for dependable seasonal color, especially where summers are too warm for long-lasting blooms.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with full sun to partial shade and moist, well-draining soil. Set the plant at the same depth it was growing in its container, spacing plants about 6 to 8 inches apart.

2. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Check containers often, as they may dry out faster than garden beds.

3. Pruning: Remove faded flowers to keep plants tidy and encourage continued blooming. Trim back stretched or weather-damaged growth as needed.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a slow release fertilizer in spring and again in late summer to promote fall blooms.
