Description

Effortless white blooms in warm orange wax

This autumn amaryllis is dipped in orange-colored wax, so no watering, soil, or routine care is needed while it blooms. Its crisp white flowers and warm seasonal finish make an inviting centerpiece or an easy holiday gift. It is also available in six wax color options to suit different holiday displays.

After the final bloom, carefully remove the wax and plant the bulb in a container, garden bed, or patio planter. It can grow outdoors year-round in frost-free climates; in colder regions, enjoy it outside during warm weather and bring it indoors before frost. Please allow 4-8 weeks for your bulb to start blooming.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. After flowering, remove the wax and plant in well-draining soil with the upper third of the bulb above the soil line. Choose bright light or morning sun and protect the bulb from freezing temperatures.

2. Watering: Do not water while the bulb is covered in wax. Once planted, water thoroughly, then allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering again. Avoid consistently soggy soil.

3. Pruning: Remove faded flowers and cut back the flower stalk after blooming. Keep the green leaves in place until they yellow naturally, as they help replenish the bulb.

4. Fertilizing: Do not fertilize the waxed bulb. Once planted and actively producing leaves, apply a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength every four to six weeks.
